Our approach centers on custom loose furniture designed to fit each home precisely, rather than relying on traditional built-in fixtures that are permanently attached to the structure. These pieces blend seamlessly with the architecture while remaining movable and flexible for future changes. Most elements are produced off-site, allowing faster installation with minimal disruption to your home. This method reflects our design philosophy of balanced design, seamless living, and effortless organization—creating spaces that are thoughtfully designed, adaptable, and easy to live in.
Who we are
10DK was originally established in 2010 as a condominium interior design and turn-key firm. In 2015, we began to question the conventional reliance on built-in furniture and realized that it may not always be the best solution for modern living. This led us to develop the concept of a “No Built-in Home.”
Instead of permanently fixed elements, we focus on custom loose furniture designed to fit each space precisely, allowing homes to remain flexible, adaptable, and easier to maintain over time.
Since then, 10DK has completed more than 500 residential projects, ranging from condominiums to private houses. Our work emphasizes both refined aesthetics and practical functionality, creating homes that are thoughtfully designed for everyday living.
