Sustainability

At 10DK, sustainability is not treated as a trend, but as a responsibility embedded in the way we design and operate. While we recognize that achieving a fully sustainable process takes time, we are committed to improving step by step, integrating sustainability through the three core pillars: environmental care, social responsibility, and economic contribution.

Environmental Responsibility

We aim to reduce environmental impact through thoughtful design choices and material selection. Whenever possible, we prioritize low-VOC materials and sustainable alternatives that contribute to healthier indoor environments. We also plan our logistics and production processes carefully to minimize transportation and energy use, helping reduce the consumption of natural resources such as fuel. While certain materials like plastic may still be necessary in some applications, we continuously work to reduce and optimize their use whenever possible.

Social Responsibility

People are at the heart of our work. More than 70% of the furniture we produce is crafted by local artisans and small workshops within Thai communities. We collaborate closely with these craftsmen, building long-term partnerships through knowledge sharing and continuous development. Our belief is simple: when they grow, we grow together.

Economic Responsibility

We strongly support local industries and Thai craftsmanship. Most of our furniture, materials, and suppliers come from within Thailand, including skilled furniture makers from rural regions such as Phrae, a province well known for its woodworking tradition. By prioritizing local partners, we help strengthen regional economies and sustain valuable craft heritage.

At 10DK, sustainability is a journey. We continue to move forward, improving bit by bit, with the goal of creating spaces that are not only beautiful and functional, but also responsible to the environment, communities, and the broader economy.
